Ordering & Delivery

How long will it take to receive my JetMini?

Approximately 12 weeks from the time your deposit is received. Orders are fulfilled in the order they are placed.

Is my deposit refundable?

Yes. Your deposit is fully refundable until final payment is made. Once the remaining balance is paid, your order becomes confirmed and non-refundable as assembly begins.

Are shipping duties and taxes extra?

Yes.

Software & Conversion

Do I have to subscribe to and use Cockpit3D software with the JetMini?

Yes. Cockpit3D is required. It is our proprietary industry-leading software designed for subsurface laser production.

What is the cost for the premium version of Cockpit3D?

Subscription packages range between approximately $40–$50 per month, with lower pricing available when paid annually.

What is the cost for the automated QR order portal with Ecommerce?

$1900 per year. This also includes the premium version of Cockpit3D.

What is the cost of the QR+ web portal that allows me to set up multiple reseller stores?

You need to have the above mentioned Master QR subscription to use QR+. Once you have this you can add reseller order portals for various shops for a nominal weekly fee starting at $10. You can terminate these satellite reseller pages as and when needed since you may find some stores are seasonal while others simply perform better than others. It's an easy way to set up partner stores to sell your product and stream line their orders to your master QR page.

Is there a cost to create 3D photos and purchase raw material?

Yes — but it is flexible. As a JetMini user, you can:
1. Purchase crystal with conversions included
2. Purchase crystal without conversions and buy credits separately ($6–$12 per conversion depending on volume)
3. Purchase conversions only and use your own raw materials

What file formats does Cockpit3D output?

Cockpit3D outputs TKBR texture-based point cloud files.

What file formats does Cockpit3D import?

Cockpit3D imports Cockpit Scene files generated within the Cockpit3D ecosystem.

Do software updates cost extra?

No. Updates are included in your subscription.

What happens if I cancel my Cockpit3D subscription?

An active subscription is required to generate and save point cloud files for laser production. If you cancel your subscription you will no longer be able to open the software and save pointcloud files.

Can I outsource conversions if I'm busy?

Your options for conversions are to use the Cockpit3D Fastpass AI conversion system which works on credit packages OR Cockpit3D artists.

What shapes of blank crystal do you sell and where do you ship from?

You can view shapes at 3Dcrystal.com. After your deposit, you gain access to the full costing portal.
We ship from Toronto (USA & Canada) and Asia (rest of world).

What power requirements does the JetMini need?

Operates at approximately 500 watts and works on standard household outlets (110V–220V globally).

Does it require water cooling or ventilation?

No. It is air-cooled and ventilation is not required for subsurface laser engraving.

How much space does it require?

It is a desktop unit approximately the size of a PC computer and fits on a standard desk or table.

How much does the JetMini weigh?

JetMini Express: Machine weighs 36lbs / 16.5KG. Travel case weighs 11lbs / 5KG
JetMini Original: Machine weighs 49lbs / 23KG. Travel case weighs 31lbs / 14KG

Is calibration required?

The machine ships calibrated. Adjustments can be made using provided online tutorials if necessary.

How long does a typical burn take?

Burn speed is approximately 100,000 points per minute.
Keychain (100–200K points): 1–2 minutes
Medium block (3x2" / 8x5cm): ~8 minutes

What maintenance is required?

Keep in a dust-free environment at ~20°C / ~68°F. Avoid slamming doors or mishandling the unit. The diode typically lasts approximately 10,000 burning hours.

Where are JetMini machines assembled?

They are designed collaboratively between Canada and Asia. They are assembled in Asia.
USA customers typically receive machines from Toronto. Other regions receive from Asia.

What warranty is included?

1 year parts and labor.
Remote support first level from USA/Canada. Customers in USA/Canada may ship machines for service to Toronto depending on the issue. Other destinations would ship to China. After warranty, parts and labor are billed.

Do you provide replacement parts?

Yes, during warranty if applicable.

Can I upgrade from JetMini Express to JetMini Original?

Many customers keep the Express and add an Original JetMini by reinvesting their profits. We do not offer any trade-ins.
